we make magnets that make people happy
faq
1) I don’t see my breed, will you paint it?
I welcome all suggestions and put them on a list. It might take me a while, but I do plan to paint them all! This includes color or other specific requests such as cropped/uncropped ears, etc. If you have an excellent quality photograph of the particular creature you are requesting and it’s something that I have on my “to do” list to paint, your dog could be the model! If it isn’t a dog that I plan to paint in the near future, you can always consider commissioning a portrait. (see the next question).
2) Can I commission my pet’s portrait?
Yes! If you can provide me with a good photo of your pet, I can paint it. The photo should be well lit and in focus. Certain times of the year I’m busier than others, so e-mail about timeline. Prices range from $250 – $500 depending on the size of the painting. For $250 you get a painting on 14x18x1 wood painting panel, one print of the painting on 8.5×11 art paper packaged in a clear sleeve with backer board and six fridge magnets. E-mail for price quotes on larger sizes, boards with deeper cradles (sides) or additional prints and magnets, as well as current painter availability.
3) Are all of your products Made In the U.S.?
Yes! Although I have designed for many companies that have their products manufactured overseas, everything that you see on this website is made in the U.S., most of it made in my studio in Washington state.
4) Where can I find your products if I live outside the U.S.?

5) Do you do artwork for breed rescue?
Yes! Contact me directly regarding fundraising opportunities. I can change the text of any particular design to reflect the name of your group, or to commemorate your group’s mascot or poster dog. Special package pricing can be arranged for breed rescues that would like to sell my products.
6) I just broke a dog dish/coffee cup/canister/platter that you designed for another company… where can I get a replacement?
The best first attempt would be to contact the manufacturer. On the bottom of the piece it should say “designed by ursula dodge for……” Sometimes you can find older discontinued pieces by going to ebay and typing my name into a search.
Very occasionally I have odd samples and remnants of old programs stuffed in the recesses of my dilapidated garage. I’m happy to “armour up” with headlamp, protective gear and safety line (it’s a REALLY dilapidated garage) and search on your behalf but please, exhaust all other avenues before requesting it (and if we have ten feet of snow when you ask, you’ll have to wait until spring thaw). Yep. That’s right. TEN FEET of snow.
